Evode Group’s Merchmaker is partnering up with some of the hottest clubs in Ibiza to provide clubbers with next generation merchandise from their favourite party venues and brands.
LONDON, UK – Merchmaker is partnering with Essential Ibiza in order to provide them and some of Ibiza’s most popular clubs with an on-demand retail solution for their merchandise.
Merchmaker, Evode Group’s print-on-demand solution, and Charlie Chester’s Essential Ibiza, a digital publication that has been bringing news and promotions Ibiza enthusiasts since 2010, have partnered up to solve the problem many clubs have been facing in terms of merchandise – getting merchandise, including clothing and accessories, in and off the island. Currently, the clubs’ main merchandise is sold mainly in designated shops on the island, and getting one’s hands on official merchandise from anywhere outside Ibiza is notoriously difficult. Most clubs don’t have intricate retail and supplier solutions in place, and so, shipping costs are sky-high and deliveries take a long time – this, if they even offer international delivery in the first place. Another major issue is that clubs do not always want to commit to stock up front, as they have limited storage spaces, and if there is more demand than stock, the clubs are missing out on revenue.
Through Merchmaker’s on-demand, zero-inventory business solution, clubs will be set up with white label e-commerce platforms, where they can trial ranges of products and lines without any upfront costs or risk entailed, as products are only manufactured after an order has been placed on a store’s website. Merchmaker’s business model also means faster shipping times and lower shipping costs for all products, making them widely more available for Ibiza enthusiasts, pre or post their trip to the island.
Merchmaker is currently in talks with several of the largest, most prestigious clubs in Ibiza, and is expecting to launch the first online stores in late 2018 or early 2019.
